This aluminum spear-top fence panel is nominally 1500 mm high x 2400 mm wide. It provides a defined panel module for perimeter projects that want a pointed picket appearance with a satin black finish. The complete fence performance depends on the approved picket, rail, post, bracket, foundation, gate, and installation details rather than the panel dimensions alone.

Spear points can discourage casual crossing and define a security-oriented appearance, but they also require deliberate placement. Review the top profile, point projection, fence location, nearby circulation, children, animals, maintenance access, and local restrictions. Do not use the words security fence as a substitute for a documented performance requirement. Where points are not appropriate, request an alternate top detail before production.

Develop the 2400 mm Module

Panel width does not automatically equal post center distance. Allow for brackets, cleats, insertion depth, clearances, tolerance, and field adjustment. Lay out each run from terminal and gate posts, then determine whether standard panels will be cut or a custom-width closing panel is needed. Confirm the bottom gap and how the panel follows slopes, steps, curbs, or changes in finished grade.

Coordinate Posts and Gates

Match the panel with post section, wall thickness, base plate or inground connection, cap, bracket, fastener, and foundation appropriate for the site. Gate leaves should use a separately approved frame, hinge, latch, stop, and clearance schedule. Verify aluminum compatibility with stainless, galvanized, or coated steel hardware and use the project-approved isolation method where dissimilar metals meet.

Finish Sample and Receiving

Confirm color code, gloss, pretreatment, coating thickness or system, exterior exposure, and touch-up method through the written specification. At receiving, check panel count, height, width, picket spacing, spear orientation, rail position, straightness, coating, package damage, and labels. Keep accepted finish and dimensional samples for comparison with later project phases.
