Shipping & DDP from China to the United States

EONE INDUSTRY can arrange international freight and DDP delivery for eligible B2B orders. The exact route, importer arrangement, customs requirements, duties, final-mile service, and named delivery place are confirmed in the written quotation before shipment.

What DDP means: Under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), the seller is responsible for the agreed export, transport, import-clearance formalities, duties and taxes, and delivery to the named destination. Risk transfers when the shipment is placed at the buyer's disposal at that destination, ready for unloading. The buyer normally unloads the shipment unless the contract states otherwise.

China-to-USA DDP Process

  1. Project and Destination Review

You provide the product, quantity, packing requirements, destination address and ZIP code, contact person, target date, and unloading conditions so the shipment can be planned correctly.

  2. DDP Feasibility and Landed-Cost Quote

We review product eligibility, route, estimated packed size and weight, customs classification, duties, destination access, and final-mile service. The quote identifies the named place and included DDP costs.

  3. Order, Specification, and Delivery Confirmation

Product drawings, material, finish, quantity, packaging, commercial terms, consignee data, and receiving requirements are confirmed before production begins.

  4. Production, Quality Control, and Export Packing

The order is manufactured and checked against the approved standard. Packing is prepared for international handling, container loading, warehouse receiving, and final delivery.

  5. Shipping and Customs Documentation

The required commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, product description, country of origin, tariff classification, and other applicable records are prepared for the selected route.

  6. China Pickup and Export Clearance

The shipment is collected, delivered to the export terminal or consolidation warehouse, declared for export, and released for international transportation.

  7. International Transportation and Ocean ISF Filing

The shipment moves by the agreed air or ocean service. For U.S.-bound ocean cargo, the responsible ISF importer or authorized agent submits required ISF data to CBP, generally no later than 24 hours before loading at the foreign port.

  8. U.S. Customs Entry and Duty Payment

The designated importer of record and licensed customs broker coordinate entry through U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Classification, admissibility, duties, taxes, bond, and any agency requirements are handled according to the confirmed DDP arrangement.

  9. Port Release and Final-Mile Scheduling

After customs and carrier release, the freight is collected from the port, terminal, airport, rail ramp, or warehouse. The delivery provider confirms access requirements and schedules the final appointment.

  10. Delivery, Unloading, and Receipt

The shipment is delivered to the named place ready for unloading. The buyer unloads, checks quantities and visible condition, records any exceptions on the delivery receipt, and contacts EONE promptly if there is damage or shortage.

Information Needed for a DDP Quote

  • Complete delivery address and ZIP code.
  • Business name, receiving contact, email, and phone number.
  • Product list, quantity, dimensions, and estimated order timing.
  • Commercial site, warehouse, residential site, or active jobsite.

Important DDP Conditions

  • DDP is included only when it is stated in the written quotation with a named destination.
  • Customs exams, port congestion, weather, carrier disruption, or government action can affect transit time.
  • Regulated products or special destinations may require additional documents, approvals, or a different Incoterm.
  • Storage, redelivery, detention, demurrage, or waiting time caused by inaccurate information or an unavailable receiving site may be charged separately.
  • The buyer is normally responsible for unloading and safe onsite handling.
