Their small format suits product tags, grouped keys, lightweight cable identification, retail packaging, samples, inventory bins, and other applications where a full-size label tie would be excessive. Current variants are black or white in 50- and 100-piece packs.

Confirm Small-Bundle Fit

Measure the item and confirm the short strap can pass through the intended hole or around the bundle before it reaches the locking head. Check whether the label remains visible after closure and whether the locked tail interferes with packaging or handling. Mini ties are intended for light identification and organization; they should not be treated as certified security seals, lifting devices, or load-rated restraints without a separate tested specification.

Test the Writing Surface

Use a sample to evaluate pen or marker compatibility, drying time, smearing, abrasion, water contact, and readability on the selected black or white background. Define a consistent format for item code, date, initials, destination, or status. Where barcodes, serialized data, outdoor permanence, or chemical resistance are required, include those needs in the RFQ so material and print options can be reviewed rather than relying on handwriting alone.

Packaging and Receiving Control

Mini ties are easy to mix with other small fasteners, so specify inner-bag quantity, carton label, SKU, color, and any retail or warehouse barcode before production. At delivery, count one inner pack from each carton group and confirm strap length, label orientation, locking action, and surface quality. Test the selected writing method again after transport. Keep black and white versions in separately identified bins to prevent picking errors during packing or installation.

Retail and Kit Packing

When mini tags are packed with samples, replacement parts, keys, or retail goods, define the exact quantity placed in each kit and the point where identification is written. Confirm whether ties ship loose, pre-attached, or in a separate labeled bag. The packing trial should also verify that the compact tag does not scratch the product, obscure required information, or puncture an outer pouch during transport.
