The standard variant is 0.3 inch wide x 12.5 inches long, with black, white, green, blue, pink, yellow, purple, and red selections. Packs of 50 or 100 pieces support color-coded cable groups, tools, hoses, temporary displays, garden work, and project inventory where the tie needs to be reopened rather than cut away.

Use Color as a Controlled Identifier

Assign each color a documented meaning such as circuit group, installation zone, product family, inspection status, or customer account. Avoid relying on color alone where a safety instruction, legal label, or permanent traceability record is required. Check Reuse Conditions

Measure the bundle circumference and leave enough length to operate the release without forcing the strap. Repeated opening is useful for temporary cable routing and changing inventory, but every reuse should include a check for worn teeth, stress whitening, cuts, deformation, or a damaged release tab. Do not use a reusable tie as lifting equipment or where a certified permanent restraint is required.
