This galvanized steel fence bracket is formed as a square sleeve with one mounting tab at each opposing side. The four current images show two related bracket geometries marked as 40 mm and approximately 1.5 inch references. Shopify lists Design A and Design B as separate variants, so buyers should identify the required geometry and approve dimensions rather than ordering only by the shared product title.

The handwritten 40 mm and 1.5 inch markings in the images should not be treated as an exact conversion or guaranteed internal clearance. Request the current drawing for sleeve inside dimensions, steel thickness, tab length, overall length, hole diameter, hole center, bend radius, weld seam, corner radius, and production tolerance.

Check the Mating Square Tube

Measure the actual outside dimensions of the rail, post, or frame member in both directions. Record corner radius, weld seam, galvanizing, powder coating, burrs, and any distortion. A nominal 40 mm tube can vary by material standard and finish buildup. Confirm whether the bracket slides over the member, receives it internally, or is used in another approved orientation. Test a physical sample when matching existing fence stock.

Identify Design A and Design B on the Drawing

Do not assume the two visible forms are interchangeable. Put the selected variant, orientation, tab direction, hole position, and required quantity on the fence or panel drawing. If both designs are used in one assembly, assign separate item numbers and carton labels. Confirm whether left-hand and right-hand arrangements are created by rotation or require different parts.

Engineer the Connection and Fasteners

The bracket shape alone does not establish a load rating. The responsible designer should review the fence height, wind, rail span, impact or security requirement, substrate, fastener type, edge distance, hole clearance, and expected movement. State whether bolts, screws, rivets, anchors, or welds are used and whether hardware is included. Avoid enlarging holes or forcing a mismatched sleeve in the field without an approved procedure.

Specify the Corrosion-Protection Route

Confirm whether the supplied bracket is made from pre-galvanized material, galvanized after fabrication, or receives an additional powder coat. These routes differ at cut edges, bends, welds, holes, and inside surfaces. Provide the site exposure, coating requirement, color, gloss, and repair method for field drilling or damage. Do not infer a fixed service life from the word galvanized alone.

Packing and RFQ

Define Design A and B quantities, pieces per bag or box, fastener scope, labels, finish protection, pallet limits, and destination. Receiving inspection should compare the SKU, variant, internal square, tab geometry, hole pattern, finish, count, and fit sample before mixing inventory.
