American Standard Black Square Steel Fence Post in 6, 8, and 10 ft Lengths
This black square steel fence post range provides 27 live combinations across three lengths, three wall-gauge labels, and three square profile sizes. It supports contractor, distributor, repair, ornamental, and commercial perimeter planning when buyers need to select the post geometry for a defined fence or gate system rather than rely on one generic black iron post description.

Select Section Before Length
Start with the required post role and load, then choose square profile, gauge, and length. In sheet metal terminology, a lower gauge number generally represents a thicker wall, but the purchase specification should also state the actual thickness tolerance. Gate, corner, end, and terminal posts may need a larger or heavier section than line posts. Do not substitute solely by matching exterior width.
Choose 6, 8, or 10 Feet
Overall post length must cover exposed height plus embedment, flange or base connection, top projection, and construction tolerance. A ten-foot post is not automatically a ten-foot finished fence post. Show finished grade, panel rails, brackets, bottom clearance, foundation, cap, and gate interface on the project drawing. Confirm whether the selected variant is cut or supplied at nominal length.
Black Finish Is Not a Full Specification
Clarify whether black refers to powder coating, paint, bituminous coating, primer, or another system. State steel grade, seam condition, pretreatment, optional galvanizing, coating thickness, gloss, cure, and repair criteria. One existing product graphic references a warranty, but any service-life or warranty commitment must come from the written quotation and approved material/coating specification rather than the image alone.
Connection and Foundation
Specify inground, flanged, sleeved, welded, or other mounting; brackets and fasteners; post cap; drainage; soil or substrate; and foundation requirements. The product variants do not include an engineering design. Prevent water entrapment and repair field cuts or holes using the accepted process. Confirm compatibility with panels, rails, gates, and adjoining metals.
Square Post RFQ
Send selected length, gauge, profile, quantity, post roles, exposed height, connection, panels, gates, coating, packing, destination, and schedule. Eone Industry can review mixed-variant packing, samples, manufacturing, and sea or air door-to-door freight. Verify variant labels, section, gauge, length, straightness, finish, and count at receiving.
