Build a range that can be ordered consistently
A private-label shade sail program may cover retail packages, contractor replenishment, or site-specific hospitality orders. Each needs an unambiguous way to identify shape, finished dimensions, fabric grade, color, and included hardware. Start by defining the sales unit and the information your customer will use to choose and reorder it.
EONE supports customer drawings for manufacturability review and OEM/private-label discussions across its triangle, square, and rectangle shade sail lines. Current product descriptions identify breathable HDPE fabric, reinforced edges, and 304 stainless steel D-rings. Custom dimensions, fabric requests, color, edge construction, interfaces, and packaging are reviewed against the particular order.
Resolve geometry before producing artwork
Provide a dimensioned plan with individually labeled corners. State the measurement convention clearly: fabric edge dimensions, corner-ring positions, and support-point measurements are not interchangeable. For a four-corner sail, include the information needed to distinguish the intended geometry from a simple nominal rectangle.
- Mark finished dimensions, drawing units, and agreed tolerances.
- Identify corner-ring orientation and the mating hardware interface.
- Show the intended edge construction and any proposed curved edge profile.
- Record fabric direction, seam layout, and labeling positions for review.
- Separate the fabricated sail specification from the supporting structure design.
Technical support requirements, foundations, and installation loads remain project-design matters unless specifically included under a separate agreed scope. Approval of the fabric drawing alone does not establish a wind rating for the installed system.
Use samples to approve more than color
A swatch can help approve color and fabric feel. A sewn construction sample can show the proposed edge reinforcement, stitching, and corner connection. A first article, where agreed, can address finished dimensions and assembly details that a small sample cannot demonstrate. Identify what each approval covers before authorizing bulk production.
GALE Commercial lists fabric weight, UV-related performance, and weatherproof status separately. Apply that distinction to your specification: do not derive a waterproof, fire-performance, or UV-percentage claim from GSM or a competitor's data. Any claim printed for the EONE-supplied fabric must have relevant supporting evidence.
Coordinate authorized branding and pack contents
EONE can coordinate branding service and private-label packaging using approved buyer artwork. Provide logo files, language requirements, product identifiers, barcode data, and placement instructions. Confirm authorization for all supplied marks. Review the label proof separately from the sail sample, including shape, size convention, fabric description, color, quantity, and batch reference.
List the exact accessories included in each sales unit. A picture of a sail attached to posts is not a packing list. If a care or installation leaflet is required, agree its scope and ensure it matches the supplied configuration and project responsibilities. Coolaroo's published care guidance demonstrates the importance of product-specific cleaning and storage instructions; it should not be copied as an EONE warranty or universal procedure.
Set commercial terms and preserve the reorder record
Material, finish where relevant to hardware, MOQ, tooling, testing, packaging, and scheduling terms are agreed by project. Agree sample charges, the approval sequence, revision scope, and any exclusive supply terms before development proceeds.
Retain the drawing revision, fabric and color references, approved construction sample, ring specification, accessory list, and packaging proof. Review substitutions or geometry changes before a repeat order. Request the appropriate sample and send your range plan or project drawings for a custom supply review.
