Roll-format fence cloth gives a buyer flexibility, but it also moves some decisions downstream. A crew may need to divide one roll among several fence runs, finish cut edges and identify offcuts for later work. Before comparing prices, decide whether the order is for project rolls or fully finished, section-specific screens.
What EONE's Current Roll Range Shows
The EONE fence-cloth collection currently includes knitted HDPE examples in a listed 1.8 m x 50 m format. Product examples carry 30%, 50% and 70% listed UV-block descriptions. These catalog labels are not interchangeable with a verified visual-privacy percentage, a shade factor or a wind rating. Confirm the required property and supporting test information in the RFQ.
Fabric weight is also a separate choice. The current examples call for the required GSM to be confirmed rather than providing one universal weight. A buyer should not infer mass, tear resistance or expected service life from the words heavy duty alone.
Keep the Performance Terms Separate
GALE Commercial's product profile reports shade factor and UVR block in different columns. That distinction is useful when writing a buying specification: ask what was measured, by which method and for which fabric and color. Competitor data does not establish the performance of an EONE roll.
For fence screening, evaluate the desired visual result against the real background. For nursery or other light-management uses, describe the intended application and have the responsible specialist define the relevant light requirement. An upright privacy screen and an engineered overhead shade structure are different applications, even if both use knitted fabric.
Where Rolls Fit the Project
Roll cloth can be useful for longer runs, phased site screening and buyers with their own fabrication capability. Finished sections can be preferable where measured gate pieces, reinforced corners and repeatable attachment positions matter more than onsite flexibility.
- Confirm whether quoted dimensions describe usable fabric or a finished, hemmed item.
- Define edge construction and the treatment needed after cutting.
- Agree grommet or attachment details instead of assuming they are standard.
- Ask for packed roll dimensions and weight before arranging receiving.
Any cloth attached to a fence changes the covered area. The supporting fence and attachment design must be reviewed for the site. A porous fabric is not automatically safe in every wind exposure, and ordinary fence cloth should not be sold as fall-protection or debris-catch netting without the appropriate evidence.
