Draw both the storage space and the delivery route
A site plan showing an empty rectangle is not enough to select a storage container. Add the gate, approach road, overhead obstructions, nearby structures, and the space needed to open the doors and move goods. Record the placement area's surface and any seasonal changes in access. The delivery provider needs to assess the route for its actual vehicle and handling method.

Define the loading and retrieval pattern
- Goods: item dimensions, packed weights, sensitivity to moisture, and storage duration.
- Movement: hand carrying, carts, pallet handling, or another agreed method.
- Access: door orientation, opening envelope, approach surface, and retrieval frequency.
- Organization: shelving requests, separated stock areas, inventory labels, and key control.
- Future use: likely relocation, changing goods, and any proposed modifications.
Do not infer floor capacity, lifting points, stackability, or a shelving rating from the appearance of a unit. Request the relevant specification and have the responsible professional check concentrated loads and attachment proposals where needed. A storage layout should not depend on undocumented capacities.
Resolve the ground before the truck arrives
Sloping terrain is a site-preparation issue, not a reason to twist or alter the container to follow the ground. Have the support arrangement, bearing conditions, drainage, and any anchoring requirements reviewed for the actual site and unit. Avoid prescribing a universal foundation or improvised leveling method from a photograph.

Its vehicle-specific clearances should not be transferred to an EONE shipment. Ask the appointed delivery provider to confirm the required approach, working space, overhead clearance, and ground conditions in writing.
Match options as one package
Discuss doors, locks, finish, identification, and any quoted ventilation or shelving together. Each opening or accessory changes an interface that needs approval. For moisture-sensitive stock, describe the required storage environment; an enclosure or a vent should not be treated as a guarantee against condensation. Specialized storage needs may require a different solution.
Confirm whether the quotation covers only the container or also particular accessories and handling services. Door-to-door or site delivery can be arranged under the agreed quote, but unloading, crane service, placement, installation, duties, and groundworks are not automatically included. Identify a receiving contact and an inspection procedure for delivery day.
Close the approval gaps before ordering
Check local placement and permit requirements with the appropriate authority. If freight-container transport is part of the intended use, ask separately about CSC documentation; the IMO convention is not proof of approval for an unspecified storage unit. This selection process is for storage, not approval of an occupied building.
